I would like to thank The Hollywood Group and especially Marla Alexander for discovering the potential and talent in our daughter Melissa. We joined The Hollywood Group in August, 2008. By November, Melissa had completed the basic preparation classes, and she has been attending the advanced ongoing training with Constance Tillotson since that time.
Everything went so fast! Melissa attended her very first Talent Showcase and got signed for representation with Heather Baldwin at Youth Talent Connection.
Melissa worked two days as a background artist in the upcoming comedy feature THE HANGOVER directed by Todd Phillips. Three months later, in February 2009, she was scheduled for her first audition for a PETER PIPER PIZZA commercial. It was a HUGE Surprise and a blessing when we found out she had booked it. Not only it was her first job, but it was a bilingual commercial that will air in the U.S. and Mexico. Shortly afer, just a few days ago, we got another HUGE Surprise: Melissa just booked a HASBRO national commercial.
Following Marla’s advice to have our daughter join The Hollywood Group, and signing for representation with Heather Baldwin at Youth Talent Connection have been two of the best decisions we’ve ever made.
