KID OF THE MONTH

MICHAEL & CHANEL SHERWOOD

Our journey started when Michael and Chanel were approached at a local mall by a talent representative. After doing some research about The Hollywood Group, we accepted the invitation to the screentest. Both Michael and Chanel were selected to participate in The Hollywood Group’s program.

Within the first two months, they completed all of their classes and continued training with Constance Tillotson, first in Los Angeles and then transferred to San Diego when the classes were offered there.

After attending their first talent showcase, Michael received two callbacks by agents. He signed with Rising Stars for representation. He’s had auditions for Nintendo, NFL, PGA/Nike, Maryclaire Sweeter, Bridgestone Tires, and McDonald’s. “With the number of children submitting for auditions, it’s the equivalent of winning the lottery to just be called for the audition,” Mimi at Rising Stars points out.

Michael and Chanel have both appeared on television in Big Bang Theory, My Name is Earl, and Dance on Sunset multiple times. Their movie debut will be on the Will Ferrell movie, Land of the Lost, coming to theaters this summer.

Our experience as parents is that The Hollywood Group has done everything they promised to do. When we look back at how easy The Hollywood Group has made it for us to learn about the process and manage our expectations, we feel lucky. The process we are going through as a family to be part of the film industry is wonderful. It is my belief that the number of things that Michael and Chanel have been able to do would not have been possible without the help of The Hollywood Group!

Regards,
Steven Sherwood
