I will never forget that Sunday morning. My husband, Roman, and I were shopping at the Plaza Camino Real Mall when a lady approached us to ask if Roman was our son. She introduced herself and asked if we would be able to take Roman for an on camera interview in San Diego. That day our lives changed tremendously!
After the presentation Roman and I had attended, we decided to sign him up with The Hollywood Group. Roman was so excited to see all those kids who had worked on a set, he was fired up! Everyone at The Hollywood Group has been so terrific especially Mitra, Roman’s Talent Coordinator, and the scheduling staff who is always on top calling to update us when the next classes will be held.
The Hollywood Group has opened up so many doors for us. Roman has had so many bookings through Kids Management all due to The Hollywood Group. I have read other testimonials and everyone says what a change they see in their children and their children’s grades…well, it’s true! Roman has always had good grades but he has even more motivation now to keep them up. I can see a spark in Roman when he is on set, something that you can’t put into words but I get an overwhelming feeling of gratitude when I see his face light up.
In closing, I think the biggest reason we decided to sign with The Hollywood Group as I told Mitra in the beginning, is that Roman plays baseball and it is his passion. I felt it would be hard for us to attend his weekend workshops; she stated to me that they would never want to take away from a child’s passion only to add to it. Roman attended one workshop so far and he had a great time. He liked the teacher and made many friends in a six hour period of time. When the baseball season ends it is our goal to have Roman complete all the workshops and get him to the Talent Showcase.
