Where do I start...well, we were first approached by someone in a retail venue, and she told me how adorable Alora was and asked if I would be interested in taking her to a screentest. I told her that many people have told me that I should get Alora into television and movie work, so I took her card and went down to the screentest.
Everyone loved Alora and welcomed us to The Hollywood Group with open arms. I got her set up with her pictures and accounts and signed her up for Kids Background, and they have called us several times. Once she had to audition but didn’t get the part, but these last two times she was able to do some work.
She did background work for the TV show on CBS called Moonlight which is about a vampire that is a private detective. Alex O’Loughlin that stars on the show is a really nice guy. He approached Alora and introduced himself. He talked with her for a while and even had his picture taken with her for memories. The next show she did was Dirty Sexy Money which airs on ABC and it stars Donald Sutherland and Jill Clayburgh. There were only six children chosen for this scene, and she will be right up front for the season premiere. She and her whole family are so excited about her being able to do this. I think it’s a great experience for a child and what it means for her future.
I want to thank Kiara and The Hollywood Group for noticing my daughter that day and changing her future forever. She has a little brother on the way, and maybe we can get him into the TV business as well.
