My daughter, Courtney Camille Marshall, deserves to be “Kid of the Month” due to the Hollywood Group’s program, which has developed Courtney into a smart, independent and talented young actress.
Since joining the program in January 2004 with Mitra Hosseini, Talent Coordinator, Courtney has learned so much valuable information in her workshops with Chris Apodaca and instructors from Gray Studios. The hands-on experience she has gained through Kids! Background Talent has led to her many appearances in Film – Fat Albert; Television Shows – Everybody Hates Chris and Monk; and Courtney also landed her first Principal Job through Kids! Background Talent.
K. B. T. contacted us and stated that Courtney had been “Picture Picked” to audition for a Principal Role for a Commercial – Spongebob Squarepants Promo. We followed the steps in the Hollywood Handbook, Courtney went to her very first audition with many other aspiring actors & actresses and Courtney landed the lead roles of the Daughter (Angela Barry) and as Sandy Cheeks (Spongebob Friend) produced by Nickelodeon.
Courtney loves this exciting business and is continuing to groom herself towards the many fields of entertainment. With Courtney’s number one love of acting, she is also a Competitive Dancer; developing her Voice Over abilities; and a Writer in which she is the Author of several teenage novels.
Courtney states that 2005 is her year and is ready to move her acting career to the next level, she has had a taste of it and loves the flavor!! Courtney is ready, trained and scheduled to attend the October 15th Hollywood Group “SHOWCASE”.
