How are you? I’m doing great! Well last weekend I went to my first showcase, and it went great. I got my evaluation sheets back and they all like me. Some of the comments that I recieved were, “ Good vocal projection, very real and fun, good translation, good eye contact, and great attitude.” Overall I mainly got 3-4 stars, which was a great acomplishment for me considering it was my first time at a showcase. I probably would not have done as well as I did if it wasn’t for taking the classes with Chris Apodaca and Christopher Vaughn. My favorite class and teacher was Chris Apodaca’s Commercial Workshop. We did the “Oscar Mayer” commercials. I had alot of fun and made a new friend, Katie Stuart. I learned how to keep eye contact and slow down when I perform/read.
I got a call from John from the Hollywood Group and he told us that they wanted to consider me for a modeling gig for an educational catalouge. I was so thrilled when I got this message, I was literally jumping around my house.
I consider it a real blessing to have you, Mitra, as my Talent Counselor. I feel like I can totally be myself around you. You make this process so fun, exciting, and relaxing for my family and I. I can’t thank you enough.
