Eli is the oldest of four and a natural leader.  Not only can he command his siblings but also the attention of those around him.  There is rarely a room that he doesn’t capture with his energy, sense of humor, and intellect.  His creativity has been noticed at home, school, church, and amongst his peers.  At church he has starred in the Christmas pageant and introduced new forms of instruction to Sunday School through his self-directed skits about the messages of his lessons.  At school, he won the lead role in their spring production.
 
From the time Eli was young, we knew he was a very gifted child.  He learned to read prior to pre-school and his teachers were amazed that he could excel in both language and math.  His memory is sharp and sometimes we wished he wouldn’t remember quite everything so well!  He loves to memorize the lines to movies and lyrics to theme songs, and then sing them or write them down.
 
We have moved all over the United States as a military family and, although Eli was born in South Dakota, he has also lived in Las Vegas, North Carolina, and now San Diego.  Eli naturally makes new friends (a useful talent considering the frequent transitions) and was drawn to expression through acting when we moved to San Diego in 2008.  Hollywood Group presented us with the guidance to align his talent with the industry, and Eli’s thrust has brought him to sets and experiences that we would have never expected.
 
In six months, Eli has worked on the sets of Desperate Housewives, Medium, Parenthood, Little Fockers, and Make It or Break It.  He even got to play “Uno” with Barbara Streisand.  While completing all his acting classes, his instructors provided a great deal of positive feedback exclaiming Eli’s natural talent.  At Eli's first agent showcase, he entertained the agents with his own infomercial called the "Sister Slimmer" (a state-of-the-art security system that slimes sisters if they go into your bedroom).  We could hear them all laughing even as he walked out the door.  We were all very excited a few days later when we received his feedback in the mail and saw that Eli scored high marks and interest from all five agents and one manager at his very first showcase. 
 
Eli is truly a natural performer who loves to entertain.  He has said his dream is to star on the big screen and have his very own trailer.  Thanks to the Hollywood Group, Eli’s dream is possible.  We look forward to the future opportunities that unfold and thank the Hollywood Group for the guidance that they have given us in finding his path.
